"Three Character Studies"
"Three Character Studies" is a set of piano etudes. The first is a Nocturne for the Left Hand Alone; second is a perpetual-motion Spinning Song; third is a Study in Thirds and Sixths in the style of a chorinho, a Brazilian tango that's a cousin of ragtime. They are challenging to play but are melodic and lots of fun. (duration: 7 minutes).
